Henrietta was tired of being ostracized for being the only chicken in the barnyard who didn’t have “a large brood.”
After a long winter of growth hormones, fertility drugs, and a dinner-date with the rooster known only as “Big Wattle,” Henrietta finally had the large brood she always wanted!
Just not in the way she was expecting…
Henrietta laid the mother of all eggs that day. It was as big as the chicken coop and twice as impressive! And once that egg hatched, she had the chickadee that sure was big-adee! The big chick went down in barnyard history as Henrietta’s sweet Snickerdoodle-doo.
