Return Policy:
Consumables (food products, coffee beans, etc.), Fitkicks, jewelry, cosmetics, personal care products (soaps, lotions, loofahs, etc) and sale items cannot be returned for a refund, exchange, or store credit. All sales on these aforementioned items are final.
Purses and other gift items may be returned for a refund, exchange, or store credit up to 7 days after the date of purchase. Any returned items must be in their original condition and original, unopened packaging (new, unworn, unaltered, and undamaged by customer) with all tags attached, accompanied by the original receipt. Approved refunds will be given in the same method as the original payment (credit card or cash).
We reserve the right to deny returns based on the appearance, smell, and condition of the returned item due to discoloration, damage, or smoke smell.
Processing Time and Shipping:
We use USPS 2-day shipping for all of our online orders. Orders are filled Wednesday - Saturday during our Montvale Location’s normal week day business hours. Shipping may be delayed if orders are placed after 1p or on the weekends.
Whole bean orders placed after 1p on Saturdays will be shipped Wednesday, as long as beans are currently roasted and/or flavored and available.
Ground Flavored Bean orders will have an additional 1 day processing time (to ensure your coffee tastes just right!)
Ground Flavored Beans cannot be ground the same day an order is placed, and therefore have an additional over-night processing time to ensure maximum flavor. This applies all in-town deliveries, in-store pick ups, and shipped orders.
Ground Coffee:
Coffee immediately begins to lose flavor or turn bitter once ground. Because of this, any orders which are ground by The Bean Counter will be ground immediately before sending out via USPS or delivery. For in-store pick up, we recommend the customer comes in as soon as possible after receiving an email notification of completion.
